The Development Intern provides critical support for the Harris Theater’s institutional fundraising efforts, including foundation grants and corporate sponsorships. The Development Intern will report to the Manager of Corporate and Foundation Relations, with opportunities to gain experience writing proposals and reports, managing and presenting data, and researching prospects.
Assisting in the preparation of grant proposals and reports, including customizing budgets
Customizing digital and printed material for potential corporate sponsors
Collecting and presenting internal statistics (ex.— performance attendance, youth participation in workshops)
Conducting ongoing prospect research
Provide onsite event support including donor check-in and ticket distribution
Other duties as assigned
Undergraduates or recent graduates with a strong interest in the arts and the desire to pursue arts fundraising as a career are encouraged to apply. The ideal candidate will have excellent oral and written communication skills, organizational and computer skills, design sensibility, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Prior experience with Tessitura or CRM database helpful.

- Monday – Thursday (flexible hours)
- $10 per hour
