The Chicago Industrial Arts & Design Center (CIADC) is growing! To meet expanded needs, we are looking for a Composite Molding / Composite Fabrication Instructor starting January 2019.
The ideal candidate would be have the flexibility to teach weekday evenings, with possible weekday morning and Saturday morning times as well. We’re looking for someone who can teach fundamental skills to diverse audiences and interests, and who would bring a unique, creative mindset to our organization. This person should be enthusiastic in working within our industrial "maker space" and want to be a part of our creative community and help us grow. Compensation is based on qualifications and experience. CIADC is an equal opportunity employer.
CIADC is a 501(c)(3) non-profit, charitable organization with a mission to provide education, working access, and community for 3D object makers working in materials/processes requiring industrial workspace, specialized skill sets, and shop equipment. We offer programming for both Teens and Adults in Casting & Molding, Metalworking & Forging, Technology & Design, and Woodworking, and cater to all interests and skill-levels!
